You play lovely :))) Can we have some more of you on your own ? Thank you :))
So does it matter what the keyboard is playing?
Great lesson dude. Appreciated.
oh That's how I do it hehehe
Nice chops mate xxxxx
I can always tell when somebody talks through 80% of the lesson then the 20% that's left is going to be pretty worthless. The dudes that talk a lot usually can't play.
made me realize how bad I am without tabs, I can physically play this, but my ear isn't trained enough for this.
I already play like that still i have issues with ringing notes created by right hand
We’re you in high school marching band for mvhs?
Best tutorial on improvisation I have ever seen. Thank you!
Awesome! I'm glad you like the approach.
Fantastic lesson as always. Thank you so much!
Thanks so much for checking in and for your kind comment.
Great video, thank you!
The thumb is obviously a great option as well! Easy to do the palm mute+ thumb among other things. Nifty!
Justin chancellor does this on schism
Thank you Sir Namashte from India🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
Theory is good, but can't hear the bass. Thanks anyway for putting it on.
i didin’t undertand anything you said… your explanations are too complex to someone that is just starting.
Do you have a step by step method to learning bass beginner to advanced?
Nice! And you can add a synth, such as the free but hot Tunefish. Thanks for the post.
Thanks, I enjoyed this ... and its good to see you get involved with ideas.
I love your lessons Sir! I am a new bass player and have already learned a lot from your videos. I hope you are able to keep posting lessons for a long time to come! Cheers from Texas! Subscribed!
Hello Jay and thanks for your kind comments. Especially when you are new to bass (how exciting!) you should try to make sure you check out lessons in the best possible order. Kind regards from Australia and Bass of Luck!
@@BassLessonsOnline Will do Sir. Thank you 😊🙏
I love your methods of teaching
wow that's a beautiful guitar
very clean!
Awesome - thanks for your kind comment.
Clickbait. Most boring “lesson” ever. He basically just tells you the name of every fret on the bass. Figured that out all by myself the first five minutes after I picked it up. Do not waste your time watching this crap. It’s completely worthless and an absolute waste of time.
Thanks! I appreciate you posting this video, even after all this time!
what is the name of the song?
With the fretless, it's nice to do jazz phrasing. But you play everything on the beat, you miss the upbeat.
Thanks for pointing this out and I apologize for my incorrect terminology/grammar in the video title. What I meant was a groove on a fretless jazz bass, not a jazz groove specifically ... which this is not.
This is excellent thank you very much. Apologies if I’m wrong but I suppose this is also similar to the G Major pentatonic too?
Hello Mick - well observed. The E Minor Pentatonic and the G Major Pentatonic scales have the same notes. If you are familiar with the term Relative Minor, E Minor is the Relative Minor of G Major.
@@BassLessonsOnline , thank you so much for clarifying that. That’s really much appreciated. I’ve really enjoyed your videos.
The geezer scale
thats badass
you are the guy- tu eres el hombre. l like your look l like everything you do since you woke up and got uo today and yesterday. l m chilling in the bass becasuse of this video. have a great weekend.
Awesome! (Book arrived today too!)
Hello Skip. Thanks for checking into this lesson and for your kind comment. Thanks also for purchasing my walking bass method. Please don't hesitate to get in touch if you want any help. Kind regards, George
Pretty bad fret sound? Do your fret need some maintenance?
Hello Danilo Thanks for checking in with your observation. The bass was recorded quite up-front with newish strings and treble dialed in. (Some people actually like this sound; not me necessarily, except where it has its place.) But to answer your question, no the frets don't need maintenance.
Tastefully done. So often is the case in music that less is more. Nice!
Thanks for your kind comment. I'm glad this helped.
Bought my first bass last week, and seem to be able tot follow on intermediate level pretty well. Cool! I found some good video's to practice. Thanx a million for that. Tip: To be able to navigate your video's even better, it might be nice to have them sorted by level in different playlists.
Awesome once again. You make this stuff so very easy to understand. I really appreciate the insight!
Thanks for your kind comment. When broken down into small elements, anything seemingly difficult becomes much easier. That's my system.
Awesome!
appreciate you show a diagram cos cant read your fingers
Nice! Thanks man
